Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Gigi Barbăneagră cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tiberiu Tudose was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Podenii's Ion Gogu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Podenii from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Grozuță in the 11th minute of play forced Bulgaru AS's goalkeeper Tiberiu Tudose to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doru Spiru took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiberiu Tudose. Tiberiu Tudose dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Tiberiu Tudose stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gigi Barbăneagră's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Nicolae Irod scored 0-4 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiberiu Tudose, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nechifor Bitanu charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nechifor Bitanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bulgaru AS's Nechifor Bitanu got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 40th match minute, Podenii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigi Barbăneagră to maneuver through the defense. If Leontin Zubaşcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Manuel Aluculesei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bulgaru AS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Podenii the free kick. Manuel Aluculesei hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Leontin Zubaşcu made the kick off in the second half. If Niccolo Ciobica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Manuel Aluculesei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bulgaru AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Aluculesei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ion Gogu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 59 played minutes Podenii got a freekick which was hit by Doru Spiru. With 66 minutes on the clock, Manuel Aluculesei commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Bulgaru AS:s Tiberiu Tudose showed great skill when he stopped Ovidiu Dragalina:s penalty. After 68 minutes of play, Podenii's Ovidiu Dragalina made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiberiu Tudose was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiberiu Tudose made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Niccolo Ciobica sent off a good shot on target. Tiberiu Tudose took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Barbăneagră, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiberiu Tudose made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niccolo Ciobica in the 80th minute. Tiberiu Tudose didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-7. In the 85th minute, Gigi Barbăneagră reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tiberiu Tudose. The goal made the score 0-8. Tiberiu Tudose made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Barbăneagră in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Podenii's Niccolo Ciobica nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiberiu Tudose made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. In the 94th minute, Gigi Barbăneagră reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tiberiu Tudose. The goal made the score 0-10. When the match was over Podenii could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bulgaru AS throughout the match.
