After having played for 38 minutes, Șerban Velicu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parnesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Șerban Velicu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ioan Rioşanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Răuțu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Sebastian Răuțu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ioan Rioşanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Șerban Velicu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Cristian Ciutacu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Parnesti's Sever Neculuță got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. My Barber FC's Sebastian Răuțu got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When George Durbacă came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the My Barber FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Durbacă couldn't finish the play. The supporters of My Barber FC booed when Parnesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Ciutacu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match, Sebastian Răuțu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ioan Rioşanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nechifor Angheloiu charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nechifor Angheloiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Parnesti booed when My Barber FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nechifor Angheloiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Șerban Velicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Șerban Velicu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parnesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Șerban Velicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marin Poenaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cornel Ştercă fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored My Barber FC's protests and gave Cornel Ştercă a yellow card for diving instead. Cornel Ştercă kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Parnesti's Șerban Velicu got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Parnesti players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
