Costică Gavrilescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Marin Poenaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If George Durbacă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th match minute, My Barber FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornel Ştercă to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabin Nechifor in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marin Poenaru saved My Barber FC from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Cornel Ştercă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabin Nechifor in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marin Poenaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marin Poenaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Gavrilescu in the 22nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the My Barber FC defense, Sabin Nechifor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marin Poenaru. The My Barber FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marin Poenaru should have stopped the shot. After having played for 36 minutes, Costică Gavrilescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costică Gavrilescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in My Barber FC's zone, Costică Gavrilescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marin Poenaru came out of the goal and Costică Gavrilescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costică Gavrilescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Poenaru having to interfere. Marin Poenaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Nechifor in the 44th minute of play. George Durbacăs short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Mugurel Graur to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half Espada were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Răuțu was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Espada's Paul Alexandrescu got a free kick in the 51st minute. Sebastian Răuțu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. My Barber FC's Marin Poenaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Nechifor in the 62nd minute of play. Costică Gavrilescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Marin Poenaru made a huge save. Augustin Stoiciu kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Răzvan Dărmănescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and My Barber FC's Marin Poenaru didn't even have to move. Marin Poenaru was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Sabin Nechifor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sabin Nechifor really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Sebastian Răuțu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mugurel Graur having to make a save. If George Durbacă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marin Poenaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costică Gavrilescu went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Cornel Ştercă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
