With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxim Moldovan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, Samsud's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaw Wojton came free, but Liviu Gâgea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 played minutes Nicu Murgu rounded Samsud's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sabin Măcriș was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Gustaw Wojton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Liviu Gâgea was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Samsud! Berkin Türksan shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Liviu Gâgea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Stătescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marian Vuia kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 95thth minute of the game Gustaw Wojton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samsud's Liviu Gâgea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
