After 3 played minutes Titans Hill FC got a freekick which was hit by Marian Oardă. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Mercescu in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Ducu saved Titans Hill FC from getting behind. 5 minutes into the game, Ciprian Manolache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eric Ducu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Liviu Mercescu's late challenge caught a Titans Hill FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Liviu Mercescu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FCDB getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Liviu Mercescu hit a great ball. After 11 played minutes Titans Hill FC got a freekick which was hit by Petru Răducan. Titans Hill FC's Eric Ducu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Mercescu in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the Titans Hill FC defense, Ciprian Manolache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Ducu. The Titans Hill FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Ducu should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Mircea Huidu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCDB's supporters rose to their feet, but Mircea Huidu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Ducu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 23 minutes of play, FCDB's Ciprian Manolache made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Ducu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aurelian Nicea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeo Bucataru's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marius Pietreanu in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelian Nicea saved FCDB from getting behind. If Vlad Tănase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavel Şunda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Aurelian Nicea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, FCDB's Aurelian Nicea got control of the ball when Panait Şoltuz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pavel Şunda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aurelian Nicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Pietreanu in the 37th minute of play. Mircea Huidu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Eric Ducu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Ducu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Mercescu in the 42nd minute of play. Romeo Bucataru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marius Pietreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Aurelian Nicea made a huge save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liviu Mercescu to make the kick off. If Panait Şoltuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mircea Huidu charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mircea Huidu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FCDB getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mircea Huidu hit a great ball. Marius Pietreanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelian Nicea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marius Pietreanu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th match minute, Titans Hill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Răducan to maneuver through the defense. When Titans Hill FC's Pavel Şunda in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FCDB's goalie prevented a goal. Eric Ducu made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Ciprian Manolache sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Titans Hill FC's Panait Şoltuz got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th play minute Ciprian Manolache came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eric Ducu. 0-5. Aurelian Nicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Pietreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. FCDB's Ciprian Manolache got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eric Ducu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Oblemenco in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Romeo Bucataru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Titans Hill FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Bucataru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelian Nicea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FCDB had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
