Spectators: 6770 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Matei Florean got the match started through his kick off. Cardaol's Rareș Gherghescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Oproiu in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cardaol's David Pătrășconiu got a free kick in the 13th minute. Marin Negrilă, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 15th minute, David Pătrășconiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rareș Gherghescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Matei Florean scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Araoz Illan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matei Florean in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Araoz Illan saved HFK Făgăraş 1942 from getting behind. Araoz Illan was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Matei Florean capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matei Florean really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Araoz Illan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Florean in the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Codruț Protase got free with Araoz Illan in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. HFK Făgăraş 1942's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Codruț Protase 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Araoz Illan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Codruț Protase in the 44th minute. Araoz Illan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Florean in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sever Bunoaică to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Iustinian Morovan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cardaol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HFK Făgăraş 1942 the free kick. A collision led to Cardaol getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Iustinian Morovan hit a great ball. Sever Bunoaică sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Silviu Oproiu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Cardaol's Rareș Gherghescu. Rareș Gherghescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silviu Oproiu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Araoz Illan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Florean in the 65th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Sever Bunoaică reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rareș Gherghescu. The goal made the score 3-2. Rareș Gherghescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silviu Oproiu in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the match, HFK Făgăraş 1942's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Protase came free, but Araoz Illan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Silviu Oproiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HFK Făgăraş 1942's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silviu Oproiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Cardaol's Rareș Gherghescu got control of the ball when Silviu Oproiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cardaol were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of HFK Făgăraş 1942 for a fine match.
