Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Matei Florean took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Dodocani UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Protase came free, but Ştefan Zăhărescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ştefan Zăhărescu came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Cardaol's Matei Florean. But to his dismay, Matei Florean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Dodocani UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Matei Florean came free, but Ştefan Zăhărescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Ionel Taşcă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dodocani UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionel Taşcă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rareș Gherghescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute Codruț Protase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Zăhărescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ştefan Zăhărescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Protase, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Robert Pușcariu missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 38 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Rareș Gherghescu right hand side. If Ionel Taşcă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Alupoaie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rareș Gherghescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionel Taşcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Gherghescu having to interfere. The Dodocani UFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cardaol were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ionel Taşcă was the one to do the kick off. Gabriel Alupoaie kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Cardaol's Emilian Iurea broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dodocani UFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Matei Florean 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. When Ionel Taşcă came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Dodocani UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionel Taşcă couldn't finish the play. When Cornel Mironescu fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dodocani UFC's protests and gave Cornel Mironescu a yellow card for diving instead. Cornel Mironescu hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matei Florean got free with Ştefan Zăhărescu in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Ionel Taşcă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dodocani UFC's Ştefan Zăhărescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Dodocani UFC from getting a goal against them. Matei Florean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ştefan Zăhărescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Codruț Protase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cardaol were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Dodocani UFC's much stronger midfield.
