ESTRANGED's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Diaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Nicodim Doloman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Pavel Nicopol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ESTRANGED getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Șerban Dragalina hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Manole Elenescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilie Aursulesei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Sorin Pencu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Doina FC's Sorin Pencu got control of the ball when Iustin Paulică tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sorin Pencu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Nedelea in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Doina FC's Lorenzo Diaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pavel Nicopol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Iustin Paulică notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Doina FC's Sorin Pencu. Sorin Pencu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute, Iustin Paulică left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ESTRANGED fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. ESTRANGED's Pavel Nicopol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Diaz in the 30th minute of play. Albert Nedelea's late challenge caught a Doina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Nedelea helped the player get up and apologised. Albert Nedelea hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Carabulea got free with Sorin Pencu in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicodim Doloman scored 2-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pavel Nicopol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Virgil Gavrilă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Virgil Gavrilă might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pavel Nicopol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgil Gavrilă ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Vasile Novac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Carabulea hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Doina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Stamate came free, but Sorin Pencu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavel Nicopol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Diaz in the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Doina FC defense, Iustin Paulică kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sorin Pencu. The Doina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sorin Pencu should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Nicodim Doloman took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Pavel Nicopol to make any attempt to save it. When Ilie Aursulesei came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the ESTRANGED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilie Aursulesei couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Pavel Nicopol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Doina FC's Nicodim Doloman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pavel Nicopol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-6. Nicodim Doloman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Doina FC's Lorenzo Diaz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pavel Nicopol. Pavel Nicopol yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-7. Sorin Pencu came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by ESTRANGED's Eduard Stamate. But to his dismay, Eduard Stamate quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-7. Șerban Dragalina kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Doina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manole Elenescu to maneuver through the defense. Nicodim Doloman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Pavel Nicopol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ESTRANGED's zone, Virgil Gavrilă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavel Nicopol came out of the goal and Virgil Gavrilă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chants of Doina FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as ESTRANGED had held the ball for most of the match.
