Spectators: 7710 (Terracing: 5784, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Mugur Stoicu made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ionel Roşu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivancauti's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionel Roşu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dumitru Oprișan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iacob Păunescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dumitru Oprișan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Roşu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Ionel Roşu notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Borospatak SC's Dumitru Oprișan. Dumitru Oprișan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute Mugur Stoicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Mircescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonard Mircescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Stoicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vasile Noica fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ivancauti's protests and gave Vasile Noica a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ivancauti's Vasile Noica got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Costică Savu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurel Cipău was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Borospatak SC's Leonard Mircescu threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mugur Stoicu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leonard Mircescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Stejaru in the 41st minute. Ionel Roşu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dumitru Oprișan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ionel Roşu made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mugur Stoicu in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonard Mircescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dumitru Oprișan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionel Roşu in the 60th minute of the match. Ionel Roşu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Dumitru Oprișan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Corneliu Purcaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivancauti's supporters rose to their feet, but Corneliu Purcaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dumitru Oprișan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ionel Roşu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dumitru Oprișan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Ionel Roşu scored 1-4 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dumitru Oprișan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivancauti's Leonard Mircescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Stejaru in the 70th minute of play. Marin Bobailă hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Dumitru Oprișan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionel Roşu went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Mugur Stoicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Leonard Mircescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Ivancauti could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Borospatak SC throughout the match.
