A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Virgil Gavrilă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ştefan Zăhărescu. Dodocani UFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgil Gavrilă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Lorenzo Diaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Diaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ştefan Zăhărescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Dodocani UFC's goalkeeper Ştefan Zăhărescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicodim Doloman. In the 27th minute, Marius Pogea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lorenzo Diaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ştefan Zăhărescu having to make a save. Lorenzo Diaz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Ştefan Zăhărescu 38 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Dodocani UFC's goalkeeper Ştefan Zăhărescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicodim Doloman. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Dodocani UFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Doina FC:s goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Nicodim Doloman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ştefan Zăhărescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 57th minute, Cornel Mironescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doina FC's Virgil Gavrilă got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ştefan Zăhărescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicodim Doloman's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes Dodocani UFC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Alupoaie. The supporters of Doina FC booed when Dodocani UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Cămărășan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Codruț Uncheşelu fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Doina FC's protests and gave Codruț Uncheşelu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Doina FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Codruț Uncheşelu hit a great ball. Ionel Taşcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 74 minutes, Nicodim Doloman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicodim Doloman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Dodocani UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Diaz came free, but Ştefan Zăhărescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
