Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) Romeo Bucataru made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Cardaol booed when Titans Hill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Şoltuz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Titans Hill FC's zone, Emilian Iurea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Ducu came out of the goal and Emilian Iurea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 6 minutes into the match, Titans Hill FC's Pavel Şunda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rareș Gherghescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eric Ducu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Codruț Protase went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 11 minutes into the game, Matei Florean was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cardaol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Titans Hill FC the free kick. After 12 played minutes Cardaol got a freekick which was hit by Matei Florean. After some careless play in the Titans Hill FC defense, Codruț Protase kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Ducu. The Titans Hill FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Ducu should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Cardaol's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Pietreanu came free, but Rareș Gherghescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If David Pătrășconiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Florean in the 24th minute of play forced Titans Hill FC's goalkeeper Eric Ducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rareș Gherghescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Bucataru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Cardaol's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Bucataru came free, but Rareș Gherghescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2-1 became the score in the 31st minute when Romeo Bucataru elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Cardaol getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. David Pătrășconiu hit a great ball. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Pavel Şunda advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-2 in the 39th minute. Matei Florean struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Eric Ducu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardaol. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Pavel Şunda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Titans Hill FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavel Şunda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rareș Gherghescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Ducu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinu Găman in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Matei Florean made the kick off in the second half. Eric Ducu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Protase, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Eric Ducu came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Cardaol's Matei Florean. But to his dismay, Matei Florean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. A collision led to Titans Hill FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Marius Pietreanu hit a great ball. After 59 minutes, Romeo Bucataru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Titans Hill FC and the Cardaol players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Titans Hill FC's Romeo Bucataru got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Pavel Şunda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 67 minutes, Pavel Şunda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Titans Hill FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Şunda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeo Bucataru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Gherghescu having to interfere. Eric Ducu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Găman in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Matei Florean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Ducu was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. David Pătrășconiu charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Pătrășconiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Pătrășconiu kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Bucataru in the 83rd minute of play forced Cardaol's goalkeeper Rareș Gherghescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Codruț Protase notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Titans Hill FC's Eric Ducu. Eric Ducu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Titans Hill FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cardaol had won, even though Titans Hill FC had held more of the ball.
