The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filip Zamfirescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 83rd minute, Adrian Barascu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Claudiu Haidău came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Universitatea Cluj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudiu Haidău couldn't finish the play. The Universitatea Cluj manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Lindenfeld to win.
