The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petre Chiriloaie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Grove Street's Mugurel Cerchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Lăzărescu in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of CF GRAND VALLE booed when FC Grove Street was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Almăgean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tudor Nae hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With a little luck, CF GRAND VALLE's Ilie Borogeanu got control of the ball when Tudor Nae tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mugurel Cerchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Stoicea in the 76th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Aurelian Barbăsură's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mugurel Cerchez was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Iustin Stoicea managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF GRAND VALLE's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Stoicea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugurel Cerchez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute Petre Chiriloaie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Borogeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tudor Nae could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Ilie Borogeanu made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tudor Nae got free with Ilie Borogeanu in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CF GRAND VALLE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
