Andrei Pantelimon hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Turmas AS's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Bogatu came free, but Horaţiu Ciompec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ion Uncu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to C.s.s. Zalau getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Nechifor Calini hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Iulian Taşcău could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Horaţiu Ciompec however easily saved by the left post. Costin Cotuțiu scored 5-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horaţiu Ciompec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costin Cotuțiu got free with Horaţiu Ciompec in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Andrei Pantelimon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narcis Prezan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Horaţiu Aurelianu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.s.s. Zalau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 58th minute Costin Cotuțiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Ciompec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maxim Ardeleanu got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 63 minutes into the game, Iulian Taşcău cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Horaţiu Ciompec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Cotuțiu in the 66th minute of play forced Turmas AS's goalkeeper Horaţiu Ciompec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Turmas AS's Horaţiu Ciompec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Cotuțiu in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Costin Cotuțiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Ciompec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horaţiu Ciompec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Taşcău, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Costin Cotuțiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horaţiu Ciompec was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Horaţiu Ciompec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Ailioaiei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horaţiu Ciompec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costin Cotuțiu went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Ahmet Korcan Oykan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horaţiu Ciompec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Korcan Oykan in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Costin Cotuțiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.s.s. Zalau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Turmas AS the free kick. Costin Cotuțiu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Andrei Pantelimon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. José Carlos Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Iulian Taşcău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Ciompec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horaţiu Ciompec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Cotuțiu in the 96th minute of play. C.s.s. Zalau walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
