After a rather tough play, F C Olt's Nistor Zafiu got a free kick in the 6th minute. Ciprian Cojan came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Predoni's Marius Zorlescu. But to his dismay, Marius Zorlescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Marius Zorlescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciprian Cojan. F C Olt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marius Zorlescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ciprian Cojan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marius Zorlescu went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Gelu Scaeru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Predoni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Urduban in the 26th minute of play forced F C Olt's goalkeeper Ciprian Cojan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciprian Cojan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelu Scaeru, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. F C Olt's Ciprian Cojan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Scaeru in the 29th minute of play. Matei Purcărete scored 1-5 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiberiu Baican, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Matei Purcărete took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Tiberiu Baican to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Scaeru in the 40th minute of play forced F C Olt's goalkeeper Ciprian Cojan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciprian Cojan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Datcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Matei Purcărete received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiberiu Baican came out and tried to block the shot, but Matei Purcărete slotted it home off the left post making it 3-5 in the 44th minute. The F C Olt players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Predoni were winning 3-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gelu Scaeru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristide Datcu during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Predoni getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Aristide Datcu hit a great ball. After 54 played minutes Predoni got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Datcu. 56 minutes into the match, Predoni's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Opaina came free, but Tiberiu Baican reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Gelu Scaeru took a quick shot and it went in 3-6 without a chance for Ciprian Cojan to make any attempt to save it. Gelu Scaeru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ciprian Cojan made a huge save. In the 62nd minute Aristide Datcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Cojan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciprian Cojan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Zorlescu in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Gelu Scaeru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Predoni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-7. 70 minutes into the match, Predoni's goal looked a bit too open when Matei Purcărete came free, but Tiberiu Baican reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristide Datcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gelu Scaeru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Ciprian Cojan made a huge save. After 77 minutes, Nistor Zafiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F C Olt and the Predoni players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, F C Olt's Nistor Zafiu got a free kick in the 77th minute. The supporters of Predoni booed when F C Olt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Muslea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciprian Cojan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gelu Scaeru in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Scaeru in the 83rd minute of play forced F C Olt's goalkeeper Ciprian Cojan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Predoni's Marius Zorlescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-8. The crowd rose to their feet as Predoni's Aristide Datcu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ciprian Cojan. That made the score 3-9 after 90 minutes of play. Gelu Scaeru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ciprian Cojan made a huge save. When the match was over Predoni could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F C Olt throughout the match.
