Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gelu Scaeru kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes Predoni got a freekick which was hit by Marius Zorlescu. In the 6th minute of the match Adam Avramescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiberiu Baican showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anton Comăneci was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Vintilă Arseni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vintilă Arseni really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Gelu Scaeru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Anton Comăneci made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Predoni's Marius Zorlescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Tiberiu Baican took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavril Chifu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiberiu Baican came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Catalu's Gavril Chifu. But to his dismay, Gavril Chifu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Catalu getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Paul Nedelcea hit a great ball. Tiberiu Baican made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Chifu in the 27th minute of play. Gavril Chifu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiberiu Baican read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Paul Nedelcea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Baican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Catalu's Anton Comăneci got control of the ball when Gelu Scaeru tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Catalu's goalkeeper Anton Comăneci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gelu Scaeru. 38 minutes into the game, Adam Avramescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Tiberiu Baican was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gavril Chifu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Baican having to interfere. The wind increased when Gavril Chifu made the kick off in the second half. Marius Zorlescu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A hard shot 63 in the game by Gavril Chifu from a close distance when the talented Tiberiu Baican managed to make a qualified save. Predoni's players were relieved. Tiberiu Baican made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Codrin Chificeac sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Scaeru in the 67th minute of play forced Catalu's goalkeeper Anton Comăneci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Comăneci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Scaeru in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Catalu's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Zorlescu came free, but Anton Comăneci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Toader Lupșoiu notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Catalu's Anton Comăneci. Anton Comăneci was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gavril Chifu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiberiu Baican read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Anton Comăneci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Scaeru in the 83rd minute of the match. Tiberiu Baican showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Avramescu in the 84th minute of the match. Anton Comăneci came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Predoni's Aristide Datcu. But to his dismay, Aristide Datcu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. 96 minutes into the match, Gelu Scaeru notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Catalu's Anton Comăneci. Anton Comăneci was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Predoni players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
