Petre Conta's late challenge caught a Turmas AS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petre Conta helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes FC Grove Street got a freekick which was hit by Petre Conta. When Turmas AS's Narcis Prezan in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Grove Street's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Grove Street's Tiberiu Almăgean got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 28th minute Ion Uncu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Cerchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Ion Uncu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Grove Street's Mugurel Cerchez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Ion Uncu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Grove Street's Mugurel Cerchez. Mugurel Cerchez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Turmas AS getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Adam Pipirig hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Narcis Prezan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Cerchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narcis Prezan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petre Chiriloaie made a kick off. Tiberiu Almăgean took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horaţiu Ciompec. Horaţiu Ciompec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Nae in the 59th minute of play forced Turmas AS's goalkeeper Horaţiu Ciompec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ion Uncu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Turmas AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ion Uncu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugurel Cerchez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Grove Street's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Ion Uncu scored to the left of an out of position Mugurel Cerchez, making the score, 1-3. The supporters of Turmas AS booed when FC Grove Street was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petre Conta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Turmas AS's Ion Uncu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mugurel Cerchez but with some difficulty. Narcis Prezan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Mugurel Cerchez made a huge save. FC Grove Street's Mugurel Cerchez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save FC Grove Street from getting a goal against them. Narcis Prezan came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mugurel Cerchez could save by the left post. After 87 played minutes, Turmas AS's Adam Pipirig shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mugurel Cerchez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Turmas AS reached it. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Ion Uncu took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Mugurel Cerchez to make any attempt to save it. After 93 played minutes FC Grove Street got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Almăgean. Turmas AS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
