Horaţiu Ciompec came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernest Casian slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Ernest Casian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Horaţiu Ciompec. Ernest Casian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Iosif Covaci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Ciompec having to interfere. Toader Negrescu scored 2-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stelian Antonescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the game, Călin Tobă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Turmas AS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC TIM-TIM the free kick. After 47 played minutes Turmas AS got a freekick which was hit by Călin Tobă. After the first half Turmas AS were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Andrei Pantelimon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Turmas AS's goalkeeper Horaţiu Ciompec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Petruț Suluțiu kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Petruț Suluțiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stelian Antonescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Lupescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Stelian Antonescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC TIM-TIM's Stelian Antonescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toader Negrescu in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Maxim Ardeleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FC TIM-TIM fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Turmas AS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
