The wind increased when Octavian Zafiu made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes, Catalu's Dorin Cristian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mugurel Cerchez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Catalu reached it. Tudor Nae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Emanuel Codrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Petre Chiriloaie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Codrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mugurel Cerchez made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Octavian Zafiu sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, FC Grove Street's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Zafiu came free, but Mugurel Cerchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Sebastian Chifan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Grove Street's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catalu the free kick.
