Gelu Scaeru started the match with the kick off. Doru Urduban scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonard Mineață, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 7 minutes of play, Predoni's Gelu Scaeru made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonard Mineață was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonard Mineață showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Datcu in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Gelu Scaeru made a precise shot to the right of Leonard Mineață. Lindenfeld's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Predoni's attentive Marius Zorlescu managed to snatch the ball when Doru Mustea made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Tiberiu Baican came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Lindenfeld's Ioan Caba. But to his dismay, Ioan Caba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Toader Lupșoiu scored 4-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonard Mineață, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 26 in the game by Gelu Scaeru from a close distance when the talented Leonard Mineață managed to make a qualified save. Lindenfeld's players were relieved. If Gelu Scaeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiberiu Baican showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ioan Caba, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A collision led to Predoni getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Vali Bobailă hit a great ball. Filip Zamfirescu struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Tiberiu Baican didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lindenfeld. Aristide Datcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Mineață having to interfere. A collision led to Lindenfeld getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ioan Caba hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The wind increased when Filip Zamfirescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Filip Zamfirescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tiberiu Baican. The goal made the score 4-2. In the 63rd minute Marius Zorlescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Mineață saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Lindenfeld defense, Gelu Scaeru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonard Mineață. The Lindenfeld fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonard Mineață should have stopped the shot. Leonard Mineață showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Scaeru in the 69th minute of the match. Tiberiu Baican showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Zamfirescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 71 played minutes Predoni got a freekick which was hit by Marius Zorlescu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vintilă Arseni during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lindenfeld reached it. Tiberiu Baican made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Ioan Caba sent off a good shot on target. Ioan Caba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiberiu Baican came out and tried to block the shot, but Ioan Caba slotted it home off the left post making it 5-4 in the 84th minute. The supporters of Lindenfeld booed when Predoni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Bobailă didn't get a good kick on the ball.
