An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Barbăsură in the 14th minute of play forced Catalu's goalkeeper Emanuel Codrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Codrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Bodiu in the 15th minute of the match. Emanuel Codrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelian Barbăsură, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Catalu booed when CF GRAND VALLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Aldea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Tiberiu Valeca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catalu's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiberiu Valeca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilie Borogeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Codrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Bodiu in the 32nd minute of play. Emanuel Codrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Stoicea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Codrea came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by CF GRAND VALLE's Iustin Stoicea. But to his dismay, Iustin Stoicea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelian Barbăsură during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aurelian Barbăsură kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, CF GRAND VALLE's Iustin Stoicea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Codrea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cosmin Gorjanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Catalu's Emanuel Codrea got control of the ball when Iustin Stoicea tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Catalu's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Stoicea came free, but Emanuel Codrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosmin Gorjanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilie Borogeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosmin Gorjanu in the 61st minute of the match. Cosmin Gorjanu scored 1-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilie Borogeanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Stoicea in the 73rd minute of play forced Catalu's goalkeeper Emanuel Codrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Catalu's Cosmin Gorjanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilie Borogeanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th match minute, CF GRAND VALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Bodiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, CF GRAND VALLE's Iustin Stoicea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emanuel Codrea. Emanuel Codrea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Iustin Stoicea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuel Codrea came out and tried to block the shot, but Iustin Stoicea slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 85th minute. If Cosmin Gorjanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Iustin Stoicea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emanuel Codrea. That made the score 1-5 in the 95 minute of play. When the match was over CF GRAND VALLE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Catalu throughout the match.
