After some careless play in the AAMrFane defense, Aurel Rainea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radu Crivoi. The AAMrFane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radu Crivoi should have stopped the shot. Radu Crivoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Rainea in the 8th minute of play. Pompiliu Baștină received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Radu Crivoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Aurel Rainea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atalanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Martin Muntian kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Atalanta's Emanuel Geambașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Giurăscu in the 24th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Aurel Rainea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Crivoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Daniel Răchită notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of AAMrFane's Radu Crivoi. Radu Crivoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute Aurel Rainea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Crivoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AAMrFane's Radu Crivoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Rainea in the 43rd minute of play. Mihai Frățilă kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Iacob Postelnicu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atalanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iacob Postelnicu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurel Rainea to strike the kick off in the second half. If Martin Muntian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emanuel Geambașu came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by AAMrFane's Tudor Covataru. But to his dismay, Tudor Covataru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. With his leg Radu Crivoi managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Atalanta's Aurel Rainea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Radu Crivoi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 61st minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Aurel Rainea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Radu Crivoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Atalanta fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Atalanta's Aurel Rainea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 69th minute, Iacob Postelnicu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radu Crivoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. 72 minutes into the match, Tudor Covataru notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of Atalanta's Emanuel Geambașu. Emanuel Geambașu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Aurel Rainea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radu Crivoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Răchită in the 86th minute of play. Aurel Rainea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Radu Crivoi made a huge save. Atalanta's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 92nd minute of the game, when Iacob Postelnicu after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of AAMrFane's goal. Iacob Postelnicu was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind AAMrFane's goalkeeper Radu Crivoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aurel Rainea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radu Crivoi having to make a save. If Aurel Rainea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Atalanta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AAMrFane throughout the match.
