Eugen Poenaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Nicoliță in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, AS ErRoR's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Breazu came free, but Eugen Poenaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinu Gheondea spun around in front of the goal 20 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of AS ErRoR's goal. Anton Croitoru's late challenge caught a FC POLI TIMISOARA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Croitoru helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 23 minutes, Dinu Gheondea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC POLI TIMISOARA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinu Gheondea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Mădălin Frențiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS ErRoR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC POLI TIMISOARA the free kick. After 24 played minutes AS ErRoR got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Frențiu. Eugen Poenaru was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Irinel Breazu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Irinel Breazu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 42nd minute, Dinu Gheondea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Călinescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Gheondea in the 54th minute of play forced AS ErRoR's goalkeeper Eugen Poenaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th match minute, AS ErRoR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Mălăele to maneuver through the defense. Eugen Poenaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Gârniceanu in the 66th minute of the match. Marian Gârniceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Poenaru having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Dinu Gheondea put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eugen Poenaru. The audience was convinced that Dinu Gheondea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugen Poenaru was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 85 minutes into the game, FC POLI TIMISOARA's Dinu Gheondea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
