The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cătălin Stelea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alb Albastrii 1948's Cătălin Stelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Tutunaru in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Chitoran in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cătălin Stelea saved Alb Albastrii 1948 from getting behind. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iacob Tutunaru made a kick off. Costică Surdilă might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cătălin Stelea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 65th minute, Costică Surdilă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Cătălin Stelea managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Fc Vld's Iacob Tutunaru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Cătălin Stelea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 77 minutes into the game, Costică Surdilă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Cătălin Stelea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Vld's goalkeeper Ivan Jușcă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aurelian Rada kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Călin Chițes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Surdilă couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Fc Vld's Basarab Birișu got a free kick in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Costică Surdilă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Vld's supporters rose to their feet, but Costică Surdilă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Stelea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cătălin Stelea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelian Rada in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the game, Fc Vld's Costică Surdilă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cătălin Stelea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 96th minute Augustin Chitoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Stelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelian Rada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Cătălin Stelea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Alb Albastrii 1948 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fc Vld were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
