Gelu Armeanca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phoenix Phoenix in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Lupii Dacici's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Gorjanu came free, but Gelu Armeanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gelu Armeanca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The nice shot from Narcis Şoiman in the 55thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Gelu Armeanca had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Alin Gorjanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FuRaCiOsUl's supporters rose to their feet, but Alin Gorjanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelu Armeanca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alin Gorjanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lupii Dacici's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Alin Gorjanu scored to the left of an out of position Gelu Armeanca, making the score, 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as FuRaCiOsUl's Sérgio Ferraz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gelu Armeanca. That made the score 1-3 after 64 minutes of play. If Sérgio Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narcis Şoiman struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Gelu Armeanca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FuRaCiOsUl. Cornel Stana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Păunescu in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Narcis Şoiman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FuRaCiOsUl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narcis Şoiman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Narcis Şoiman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gelu Armeanca. The goal made the score 1-4. Narcis Şoiman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gelu Armeanca having to make a save. Narcis Şoiman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gelu Armeanca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Sérgio Ferraz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. FuRaCiOsUl played a much better game than Lupii Dacici and deserved their victory. The Lupii Dacici players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
