When Vaios Anagnostakis fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uliesul's protests and gave Vaios Anagnostakis a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uliesul! The referee gave Fc Vld a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Constantin Alamaru, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Uliesul's Fábio Veiga. 0-1. Costică Surdilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Veiga having to interfere. Fc Vld's Costică Surdilă got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uliesul's Fábio Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Surdilă in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Uliesul's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Chitoran came free, but Fábio Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Costică Surdilă made a precise shot to the right of Fábio Veiga. Uliesul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augustin Chitoran to strike the kick off in the second half. Uliesul's Fábio Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Chitoran in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Uliesul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Şania to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Nicolae Şania's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Jușcă was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. The Uliesul supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fc Vld's performance. The match ended with a win for Fc Vld.
