The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Alb Albastrii 1948's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Muscă came free, but Cătălin Stelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Muscă in the 25th minute of play forced Alb Albastrii 1948's goalkeeper Cătălin Stelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Călin Chițes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Cristi Vasilescu in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Alb Albastrii 1948's Nicolae Udurbac. In the 57th minute of the match Nicolae Udurbac sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Codrin Zburlea skillfully saved the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Costel Muscă dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cătălin Stelea, 1-3. 74 minutes into the match, Alb Albastrii 1948's goalkeeper Cătălin Stelea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costel Muscă. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Muscă in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cătălin Stelea saved Alb Albastrii 1948 from getting behind. If Costel Muscă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alb Albastrii 1948's Nicolae Udurbac quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stelian Iorga, made in the 85th minute of the game. Teodor Ipătescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cătălin Stelea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Ernest Lăzan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alb Albastrii 1948 and the Timisoara 1921 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Ernest Lăzan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th match minute, Timisoara 1921 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Stelian to maneuver through the defense.
