With a little luck, Buchin's Gigi Cuculeanu got control of the ball when Gabriel Marin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, FC ARCEL's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Negrițoiu came free, but Horea Urdoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes FC ARCEL got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Cobâlcescu. 12 minutes into the match, FC ARCEL's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Grindeanu came free, but Horea Urdoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Edgar Sima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Marin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gigi Cuculeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobs Veitch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigi Cuculeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobs Veitch, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Jacobs Veitch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacobs Veitch kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gigi Cuculeanu. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Iacob Grindeanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horea Urdoi was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Horea Urdoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irinel Negrițoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes of play, FC ARCEL's Gabriel Marin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gigi Cuculeanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Buchin getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Irinel Negrițoiu hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Irinel Negrițoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Urdoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC ARCEL's Horea Urdoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irinel Negrițoiu in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th match minute, FC ARCEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petruț Irimescu to maneuver through the defense. Buchin's Sorin Banciu got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Marin to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Baicea kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Alexandru Capătă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobs Veitch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gigi Cuculeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horea Urdoi made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Edgar Sima sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Marin might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gigi Cuculeanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Marin ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabriel Marin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gigi Cuculeanu having to make a save. Fabian Rogozanu charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Rogozanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Buchin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC ARCEL:s goal. 72 minutes into the game, Romulo Chus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gigi Cuculeanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horea Urdoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irinel Negrițoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, FC ARCEL's Jacobs Veitch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigi Cuculeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Jacobs Veitch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horea Urdoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irinel Negrițoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Marin in the 91st minute of play forced Buchin's goalkeeper Gigi Cuculeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Sima was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Edgar Sima hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Jacobs Veitch took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigi Cuculeanu. Gigi Cuculeanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. When the referee ended the match the FC ARCEL players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
