Cătălin Stelea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NeverGiveUp. After 31 minutes, Ştefan Gordunescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NeverGiveUp and the Alb Albastrii 1948 players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, NeverGiveUp's Cătălin Stelea threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Horaţiu Durbac, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vintilă Coraș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Cătălin Stelea made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Alb Albastrii 1948's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Verzea came free, but Cătălin Stelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Nichifor Anisie in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Alb Albastrii 1948's Ernest Lăzan. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Verzea was the one to do the kick off.
