A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Timisoara 1921's goal looked a bit too open when Phoenix Phoenix came free, but Codrin Zburlea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Codrin Zburlea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Gorjanu in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Timisoara 1921's Dinu Dănciulescu got a free kick in the 16th minute. Codrin Zburlea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narcis Şoiman went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 24 played minutes FuRaCiOsUl got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Cordario. Cornel Stana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Muscă in the 25th minute of the match. Cornel Stana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Chiriță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iulian Voiculescu's late challenge caught a FuRaCiOsUl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iulian Voiculescu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FuRaCiOsUl booed when Timisoara 1921 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Voiculescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Sérgio Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Timisoara 1921's Codrin Zburlea got control of the ball when Narcis Şoiman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornel Stana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Chiriță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Narcis Şoiman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FuRaCiOsUl fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Codrin Zburlea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Gorjanu in the 63rd minute of play. Codrin Zburlea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didrik Olsrud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Narcis Şoiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narcis Şoiman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Codrin Zburlea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, FuRaCiOsUl's goalkeeper Cornel Stana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costel Muscă. Codrin Zburlea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phoenix Phoenix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 played minutes Timisoara 1921 got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Stelian. In the 79th minute of the match Manole Bălțăteanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Codrin Zburlea skillfully saved the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Timisoara 1921's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Gorjanu came free, but Codrin Zburlea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narcis Şoiman scored 5-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Codrin Zburlea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Codrin Zburlea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alin Gorjanu's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. 97 minutes into the game, George Gavra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FuRaCiOsUl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Timisoara 1921 the free kick. George Gavra kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. There was no doubt that FuRaCiOsUl were the better team. FuRaCiOsUl's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
