The Lupii Dacici fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Costică Surdilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. The wind increased when Sorin Păunescu made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Costică Surdilă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Vld's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costică Surdilă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Lupii Dacici defense, Costică Surdilă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gelu Armeanca. The Lupii Dacici fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gelu Armeanca should have stopped the shot. Gelu Armeanca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iacob Tutunaru's shot from short distance in the 90th minute.
