Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) If Costică Surdilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 6th minute, Cornurile UFC's Aurelian Crăciunescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aurelian Crăciunescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cornurile UFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aurelian Crăciunescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cornurile UFC! Costică Surdilă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the game, Fc Vld's Costică Surdilă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigi Cuculeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ionel Encioiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ivan Jușcă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Basarab Birișu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Cornurile UFC's Sorin Banciu tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Iacob Grindeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ivan Jușcă made a huge save. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fc Vld's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sorin Banciu was slow to take the kick. During this time Cornurile UFC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cornurile UFC's corner Sorin Banciu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivan Jușcă quite easily take care of the ball. Iacob Grindeanus short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Ivan Jușcă to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Iacob Grindeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Jușcă having to interfere. In the 40th minute Edgar Sima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Jușcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iacob Grindeanu didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 42nd minute. Cornurile UFC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Iacob Grindeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Ivan Jușcă made a huge save. The Cornurile UFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fc Vld were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iacob Tutunaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ivan Jușcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Grindeanu in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Iacob Grindeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cornurile UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Iacob Grindeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Jușcă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the game, Emil Chifu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Vld's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cornurile UFC the free kick. Emil Chifu kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Iacob Grindeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cornurile UFC booed when Fc Vld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Birișu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Fc Vld's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Grindeanu came free, but Ivan Jușcă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Jușcă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Grindeanu in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Grindeanu in the 76th minute of play forced Fc Vld's goalkeeper Ivan Jușcă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigi Cuculeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Tutunaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
