Codrin Zburlea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Iulian Voiculescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Timisoara 1921's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Hăulică came free, but Codrin Zburlea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Timisoara 1921's zone, Sebastian Miulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codrin Zburlea came out of the goal and Sebastian Miulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gelu Armeanca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Chiriță in the 29th minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Sebastian Miulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lupii Dacici and the Timisoara 1921 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Timisoara 1921 booed when Lupii Dacici was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Miulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liviu Bojonca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Zburlea having to interfere. Sebastian Miulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Codrin Zburlea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Codrin Zburlea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Liviu Bojonca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 80 minute of play. Codrin Zburlea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Răduțu in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Chiriță in the 88th minute of play forced Lupii Dacici's goalkeeper Gelu Armeanca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Sorin Păunescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Codrin Zburlea. The goal made the score 2-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lupii Dacici eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
