Vanvucesti's Codrin Pantiș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Ţeica in the 58th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Vanvucesti got a freekick which was hit by Alex Avacariței. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Tudor Papadache managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC Avantul 06 Resita's supporters rose to their feet, but Tudor Papadache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Codrin Pantiș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
