In the 12th match minute, Venezia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Manolescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Sorin Dragușin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Traian Cucerzan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Dragușin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Studena CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Sorin Dragușin came free, but Traian Cucerzan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Traian Cucerzan was a little too slow when Romeo Suciu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-5. Traian Cucerzan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sorin Dragușin in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Venezia FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Studena CSS.
