Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tudor Papadache started the match with the kick off. Mihail Ţeica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Aalexoaiei having to interfere. Mugur Răzvan hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Emilian Aalexoaiei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Papadache in the 9th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosmin Atodiresei got free with Anton Epure in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fc Luup RO's Nistor Armeanca shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Anton Epure but with some difficulty. In the 12th minute Anton Grigorie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Epure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, UFC Avantul 06 Resita's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Pavelescu came free, but Anton Epure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Ovidiu Anton in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fc Luup RO's Cosmin Atodiresei. Emilian Aalexoaiei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Papadache, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Nicu Stoicescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Anton Epure when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigore Balaban in the 26th minute of play forced Fc Luup RO's goalkeeper Emilian Aalexoaiei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Epure made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Cosmin Atodiresei sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Fc Luup RO's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Balaban came free, but Emilian Aalexoaiei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilian Aalexoaiei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tudor Papadache went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, UFC Avantul 06 Resita's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Pavelescu came free, but Anton Epure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Cosmin Atodiresei dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anton Epure, 1-1. The supporters of Fc Luup RO booed when UFC Avantul 06 Resita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Balaban didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Emilian Aalexoaiei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Ţeica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Epure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Stoicescu in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihăiţă Pavelescu in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Epure saved UFC Avantul 06 Resita from getting behind. When Nicu Stoicescu came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Fc Luup RO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicu Stoicescu couldn't finish the play. When Cosmin Atodiresei fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Luup RO's protests and gave Cosmin Atodiresei a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Fc Luup RO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosmin Atodiresei to maneuver through the defense. Anton Epure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Stoicescu in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Tudor Papadache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
