After a defensive mix-up in Studena CSS's zone, Romeo Stancu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Traian Cucerzan came out of the goal and Romeo Stancu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute, Studena CSS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Teobald Magdziarz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Nae Maxim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilian Plop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Braru, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in BIC's zone, Emilian Braru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilian Plop came out of the goal and Emilian Braru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Studena CSS's Emilian Braru got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Vădan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Traian Cucerzan having to interfere. Mugur Spoială made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nae Maxim however managed to control. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
