Spectators: 7671 (Terracing: 5754, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) UFC Piluganii's Bernabe Servando started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luca Papaiani came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by UFC Piluganii's Bernabe Servando. A nice corner shot did that Valeriu Anastasiu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luca Papaiani quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 26 minutes into the match, UFC Piluganii's goalkeeper Ionel Maghear had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uno Brogren. Luca Papaiani came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by UFC Piluganii's Bernabe Servando. Fc Rapid Bucuresti's Luca Papaiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Anastasiu in the 34th minute of play. Sergiu Mihalcea was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. Fc Rapid Bucuresti's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. UFC Piluganii were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Fc Rapid Bucuresti's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valeriu Anastasiu took the corner. In the 43rd minute Lucrețiu Meleșcanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Papaiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Sergiu Mihalcea made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, UFC Piluganii's Luca Papaiani threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernabe Servando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luca Papaiani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Servando, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Luca Papaiani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Meleșcanu in the 55th minute of the match. Luca Papaiani made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Lucrețiu Meleșcanu sent off a good shot on target. Ionel Maghear made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Mihalcea in the 62nd minute of play. Valeriu Anastasiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Mugur Robu's late challenge caught a UFC Piluganii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mugur Robu helped the player get up and apologised. 86 minutes into the game, one of Fc Rapid Bucuresti:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Luca Papaiani, was totally fooled by UFC Piluganii's Valeriu Anastasiu, who 89 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 96 minutes, Bernabe Servando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UFC Piluganii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Servando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lucrețiu Meleșcanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
