In the 28th match minute, UFC Piluganii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Anastasiu to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, UFC Piluganii's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Leite came free, but Ionel Maghear reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The UFC Piluganii players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Biraoni were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernabe Servando was the one to do the kick off. Ionel Maghear made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Radu Enache sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Biraoni's Reynaldo Leite got a free kick in the 56th minute. Bernabe Servando took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mircea Mitulescu. Mircea Mitulescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Biraoni's Mugur Postolache was substituted for Martin Pătrășconiu. In the 72nd minute of the match, Radu Enache got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ionel Maghear was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Radu Enache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Biraoni's Isac Rogoz was substituted for Albert Macri. Ionel Maghear showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radu Enache got free with Ionel Maghear in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. UFC Piluganii's Ionel Maghear proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save UFC Piluganii from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Reynaldo Leite left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Biraoni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Biraoni made a substitution. Tudor Amuguroancei replaced Mădălin Ţurlău.
