Uno Brogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin 雷沙 having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Munchen's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Roşca came free, but Edwin 雷沙 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Papaiani made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Rareș Bolborici sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the match, Fc Rapid Bucuresti's goalkeeper Luca Papaiani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rareș Bolborici. Eusebiu Baltian made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fotbal Club Munchen's Iurie Capisizu. Edwin 雷沙 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Șerban Roşca, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Sergiu Mihalcea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin 雷沙 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uno Brogren in the 37th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Munchen's goalkeeper Edwin 雷沙 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rareș Bolborici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Fotbal Club Munchen's zone, Uno Brogren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin 雷沙 came out of the goal and Uno Brogren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edwin 雷沙 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uno Brogren in the 45th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Rareș Bolborici managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fotbal Club Munchen's supporters rose to their feet, but Rareș Bolborici was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luca Papaiani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergiu Mihalcea to strike the kick off in the second half. Fotbal Club Munchen's Edwin 雷沙 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Fotbal Club Munchen from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Fotbal Club Munchen getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Iurie Capisizu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fc Rapid Bucuresti's Sergiu Mihalcea got a free kick in the 56th minute. Fotbal Club Munchen's Edwin 雷沙 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Fotbal Club Munchen from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Fc Rapid Bucuresti's Sergiu Mihalcea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edwin 雷沙 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Grigore Bodea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Fc Rapid Bucuresti's Mihnea Dragomiroiu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edwin 雷沙. Edwin 雷沙 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Sergiu Mihalcea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin 雷沙 having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Rareș Bolborici notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fc Rapid Bucuresti's Luca Papaiani. Luca Papaiani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edwin 雷沙 made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Uno Brogren sent off a good shot on target. Fotbal Club Munchen's Edwin 雷沙 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Fotbal Club Munchen from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Uno Brogren could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Edwin 雷沙 however easily saved by the left post. Uno Brogren came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edwin 雷沙 could save by the left post. Uno Brogren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edwin 雷沙 firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fotbal Club Munchen's Edwin 雷沙 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Mihalcea in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Dejeu in the 95th minute of play forced Fc Rapid Bucuresti's goalkeeper Luca Papaiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rareș Bolborici in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luca Papaiani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
