Marian Hurmuzescu came out of the goal and Lucrețiu Meleșcanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ionel Maghear showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Oproiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Stiinta Andromeda's Marian Hurmuzescu got control of the ball when Lucrețiu Meleșcanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marian Hurmuzescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Servando in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Victor Gafița hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
