Spectators: 7427 (Terracing: 5525, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Grigore Coșereanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes Botean's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zachary Parajewski who took care of the corner kick. Reynaldo Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Elian having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Botean's Tiberiu Blănaru got a free kick in the 13th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Biraoni's Zachary Parajewski broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 18th match minute, Botean was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Coșereanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Radu Enache made a precise shot to the right of Ovidiu Elian. Botean's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Botean's Grigore Coșereanu got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Zachary Parajewski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidiu Elian showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Codruț Vulpe's late challenge caught a Biraoni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Codruț Vulpe helped the player get up and apologised. Codruț Vulpe kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Radu Enache took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidiu Elian. Ovidiu Elian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Botean defense, Radu Enache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidiu Elian. The Botean fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidiu Elian should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Biraoni's Reynaldo Leite got a free kick in the 44th minute. Ovidiu Elian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radu Enache stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ovidiu Elian was a little too slow when Reynaldo Leite got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 58th minute, Radu Enache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Biraoni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. With a little luck, Botean's Ovidiu Elian got control of the ball when Radu Enache tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mircea Mitulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Cristache, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute, Radu Enache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grigore Coșereanu charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grigore Coșereanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Grigore Coșereanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-6 became the score in the 75th minute when Reynaldo Leite elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Olimpiu Cristache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidiu Elian made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Reynaldo Leite sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th of the match, Reynaldo Leite tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ovidiu Elian got in the way and made a wonderful save. The supporters of Biraoni booed when Botean was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Coșereanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radu Enache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Leite in the 92nd minute of play forced Botean's goalkeeper Ovidiu Elian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidiu Elian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radu Enache in the 94th minute. A collision led to Botean getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Olimpiu Cristache hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Biraoni walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
