Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5770, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) Valentin Coșereanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rafael Txatxu made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Valentin Coșereanu sent off a good shot on target. Lento Phoenix took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Hrandabur. Ivan Hrandabur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tudor Pășcuțoiu in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Hrandabur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafael Txatxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihail Harhoiu in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Romeo Mateescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Tudor Pășcuțoiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Hrandabur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ivan Hrandabur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Pășcuțoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Barbucea's Nichifor Ghișe got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Assis Doro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RETRO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Assis Doro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Hrandabur didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when RETRO FC's Tudor Pășcuțoiu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Lento Phoenix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barbucea's Ivan Hrandabur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Lento Phoenix managed to get in a good position for a shot. RETRO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lento Phoenix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Hrandabur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Hrandabur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tudor Pășcuțoiu's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Tudor Pășcuțoiu struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ivan Hrandabur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RETRO FC. The supporters of RETRO FC booed when Barbucea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Zdrăilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tudor Pășcuțoiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Hrandabur having to make a save. RETRO FC's Rafael Txatxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save RETRO FC from getting a goal against them. The Barbucea players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RETRO FC were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tudor Pășcuțoiu to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes Barbucea got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Mateescu. Fabian Şiman's late challenge caught a Barbucea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Şiman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th match minute, RETRO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Şiman to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute Romeo Mateescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Txatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tudor Pășcuțoiu had several of the Barbucea's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Ivan Hrandabur as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 64th minute, RETRO FC's Lento Phoenix ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivan Hrandabur. Ivan Hrandabur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Ivan Hrandabur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lento Phoenix in the 67th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as RETRO FC's Lento Phoenix slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivan Hrandabur. That made the score 0-8 after 73 minutes of play. RETRO FC's Lento Phoenix got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in RETRO FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Rafael Txatxu had in the 81stth minute some difficulties stopping Ilie Zbârlea's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Barbucea's Ilie Zbârlea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Txatxu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. In the 84th minute, Fabian Şiman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Barbucea booed when RETRO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Racoviță didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Barbucea's Ivan Hrandabur got control of the ball when Tudor Pășcuțoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Barbucea's zone, Tudor Pășcuțoiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Hrandabur came out of the goal and Tudor Pășcuțoiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. RETRO FC played a much better game than Barbucea and deserved their victory. The Barbucea players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
