Spectators: 7302 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) Oltul Slatina's Vali Dragotescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vlad Madgearu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7thth minute of the game Vali Dragotescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barbucea's Ivan Hrandabur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Madgearu in the 8th minute of play forced Barbucea's goalkeeper Ivan Hrandabur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barbucea's Ivan Hrandabur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlad Madgearu in the 10th minute of play. Vali Dragotescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Hrandabur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Vlad Madgearu kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vali Dragotescu in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Hrandabur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Hrandabur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlad Madgearu in the 18th minute of play. Barbucea's Ivan Hrandabur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Dragotescu in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Barbucea's zone, Vali Dragotescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Hrandabur came out of the goal and Vali Dragotescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vlad Madgearu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vlad Madgearu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mihail Harhoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Nichifor Ghișe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Vlad Madgearu made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Hrandabur. Barbucea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Vlad Madgearu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Hrandabur having to interfere. After the first half Oltul Slatina were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 61st minute, Valentin Coșereanu made a precise shot to the right of Felix Angheluță. Oltul Slatina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 64th match minute, Oltul Slatina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vali Dragotescu to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Valentin Coșereanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Angheluță was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. If Vali Dragotescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, Romeo Mateescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barbucea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oltul Slatina the free kick. In the 68th match minute, Barbucea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Mateescu to maneuver through the defense. Felix Angheluță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Coșereanu in the 77th minute of the match. Vali Dragotescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Barbucea's goalkeeper Ivan Hrandabur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vlad Madgearu. Romeo Mateescu was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 97 played minutes Barbucea got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Mateescu. When the match was over Oltul Slatina could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Barbucea throughout the match.
