That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. 42 minutes into the match, Chisinau CC's goalkeeper Costin Hârciog had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vlad Madgearu. The Chisinau CC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costin Hârciog should have stopped the shot. Vlad Madgearu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costin Hârciog having to interfere. Chisinau CC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
