After a rather tough play, LPS Buzău F's Pavel Zburlea got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 6th play minutes Moise Şimoc shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Ovidiu Bungescu and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 16th minute, Gică Baran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LPS Buzău F fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Alin Covaliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicodim Mărculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Cristi Sălcudeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in LPS Buzău F's zone, Nicodim Mărculescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristi Sălcudeanu came out of the goal and Nicodim Mărculescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, OLD SCHOOL's Nicodim Mărculescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Nicodim Mărculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cristi Sălcudeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidiu Bungescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Baran, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Moise Şimoc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Bungescu having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Gică Baran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Bungescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidiu Bungescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Stoleru in the 44th minute of the match. OLD SCHOOL's Adam Patrichi pulled a muscle in his leg after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matei Bosânceanu during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Matei Bosânceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half LPS Buzău F were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicodim Mărculescu made a kick off. OLD SCHOOL's Ovidiu Bungescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Baran in the 67th minute of play. With a little luck, OLD SCHOOL's Ovidiu Bungescu got control of the ball when Tudor Joanță tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Boeru in the 70th minute of play forced LPS Buzău F's goalkeeper Cristi Sălcudeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, OLD SCHOOL's Ovidiu Bungescu got control of the ball when Moise Şimoc tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute Gică Baran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Bungescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, LPS Buzău F's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Covaliu came free, but Cristi Sălcudeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudiu Stoleru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LPS Buzău F were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over OLD SCHOOL's much stronger midfield.
