Gheorghe Erbașu was a little too slow when Martin Cumpanașu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 2-0. Gheorghe Erbașu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iacob Dorlea, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Barsa AFC's Gheorghe Erbașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Dorlea in the 24th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iurie Radu during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.F. Arthur's Iurie Radu got a free kick in the 27th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Barsa AFC's Dinu Cristea tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Augustin Gruia managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.F. Arthur's supporters rose to their feet, but Augustin Gruia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gheorghe Erbașu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Dorlea in the 34th minute of play forced Barsa AFC's goalkeeper Gheorghe Erbașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicodim Panciu scored 4-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gheorghe Erbașu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristinel Dobrea lost his temper 40 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barsa AFC's goalkeeper Gheorghe Erbașu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihail Blaga to make the kick off. A collision led to Barsa AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Călin Afloarei hit a great ball. Gheorghe Erbașu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, C.F. Arthur's Petrică Chificeac got a free kick in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisc Chinezu got free with Bogdan Rușanu in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Brânza in the 82nd minute of play forced Barsa AFC's goalkeeper Gheorghe Erbașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Barsa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Dorlea came free, but Gheorghe Erbașu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gheorghe Erbașu came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by C.F. Arthur's Iacob Dorlea. But to his dismay, Iacob Dorlea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Barsa AFC's Gheorghe Erbașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Dorlea in the 91st minute of play. Iacob Dorlea scored 8-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gheorghe Erbașu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C.F. Arthur's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
