That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. 47 minutes into the match, LEGIO XIII GEMINA's goalkeeper Florin Bouleanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurel Florei. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Mircea Alucai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorel Romoşan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Bouleanu having to interfere. Mihai Savu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Toar Duve put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Florin Bouleanu. LEGIO XIII GEMINA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rimeti the free kick. Florin Bouleanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toar Duve went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Rimeti's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
