Isac Crainic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Armeanca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Șerban Panaitoiu in the 6th minute of play forced gcg's goalkeeper Isac Crainic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isac Crainic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Șerban Panaitoiu in the 8th minute of play. Isac Crainic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Panaitoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Proca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Isac Crainic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristinel Armeanca scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isac Crainic, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tym Tym's Leonard Vlăsiu pulled a muscle in his back after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tym Tym made a substitution. David Cojan replaced Leonard Vlăsiu. In the 30th minute, Eugen Iliescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, gcg's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Panaitoiu came free, but Isac Crainic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Șerban Panaitoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tym Tym's supporters rose to their feet, but Șerban Panaitoiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isac Crainic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. gcg's Isac Crainic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Armeanca in the 37th minute of play. After 43 played minutes gcg got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Burtea. Isac Crainic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Armeanca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Bunoaică received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Isac Crainic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Șerban Panaitoiu was the one to do the kick off. Augustin Voina charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augustin Voina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tym Tym made a substitution. Virgil Pușcașu replaced Viorel Vizitiu. In the 55th minute Șerban Panaitoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Crainic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, gcg's goalkeeper Isac Crainic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristinel Armeanca. gcg's Isac Crainic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save gcg from getting a goal against them. Isac Crainic made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Cristinel Armeanca sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Cristinel Armeanca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isac Crainic was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Isac Crainic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ştefan Puișoru in the 80th minute. Isac Crainic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Șerban Panaitoiu in the 89th minute of play. If Ştefan Puișoru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Tym Tym could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than gcg throughout the match.
