He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tym Tym reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandru Isaicu in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Chirculescu saved ASU POLI TIMISOARA from getting behind. Iurie Bucur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgil Ardeleanu in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandru Isaicu to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tym Tym booed when ASU POLI TIMISOARA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Ardeleanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton Cioroianu during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. ASU POLI TIMISOARA's Horea Chirculescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save ASU POLI TIMISOARA from getting a goal against them. ASU POLI TIMISOARA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
